Cascading failures in EV charging network

With the rapid increase of Electric vehicle (EV) penetration, EV charging network become an important infrastructure. This paper studies configuration from a safety perspective. It is found that cascading failures may happen if one station out work and its load has to be redistributed neighboring stations. The failure model borrowed science area used in study, results show effects system parameters on robustness. indicate order achieve good performance, it better assign extra based neighbors’ degree when node overloaded. On other hand, redistribution should not consider distance between overloaded neighbors.
